Steering? Wierd resistance when wheel is turned.
 

I seem to have a problem with the PAS system in my car. Basically, when turning the steering wheel anti-clockwise, there are certain points along the 'turn' when the wheel seems to give a weird resistance towards me, as if the power steering is randomly cutting out along the turn.
It does feel a little more than just no power steering, because it can be quite a resistance, however it doesn't actually stop me turning the wheel, but i would say its rather weird. Don't know if the actual mechanics behind it need oiling up or what, i'm not experienced with this type of problem.
What is worth mentioning is that when my stereo was off i noticed that you can hear a noise that sounds like liquid behind the steering wheel swishing backwards and forwards, as if you were to have a bottle half full and kinda shake it. It seems maybe there is a problem with the fluid or something? Really not sure myself.

Hearing bubbles could mean you got air in the system somehow.... You had the car lowered? Think the steering rods can rub on hydraulic hoses at steering rack and bust them open, on lowered motors.... !
Hearing it behind the dash would that not be the heater matrix?

Yeah its lowered 50mm, how/where do i check for the pipes? Cheers bud.
