2 Questions about paint...
1. Self spray job has 20334837492% orange peal, can you get rid of it or will it always look bland?
2. Failing that, how can you remove paint without damaging plastic? Thanks, Dan. |
you can get rid of the orange peel.
wet sand the top layer of lacquer. then either polish it to a shine or give it another coat. how are you painting it? may be able to help with techinque to stop the orange peel look. if you did want to remove the paint, i have heard some people say they have used paint stripper and it didnt damage the plastic but i havent tried it myself. |
orange peel is usually cause by using the spray gun/can too close to the object your painting
