Help with Exhaust!

Booked the MoT for the 30th and got the rear discs/pads on the way because the rear discs/pads are worn (Dont know if it's a neccessity to pass the MoT but still needs 'em nonetheless) But the Exhaust is where my concerns lie!
I have a Non-Standard De-Cat on my car as it is But apparently that wont pass the MoT so I also have the standard Catalytic Converter which looks somewhat like the top one But straight lol http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...rburnersp2.jpg
And also have with it (Off the car) something looking like this (Not SSprint btw) http://www.yozzasport.co.uk/prodimag...t/s/802003.jpg
Would I be right in saying that's the centre section?..Also the man on the phone from the Garage said that if the Exhaust that's on the car has been cut in some way that would be hard because I wouldnt be able to fit the standard pipes!This right<?!
Cheers

top = cat

bottom looks to be mid section.

if they have been cut right and in the same place as standard zorst i cant see no problem with it fitting

also i doubt it will pass mot with the de-cat on

some peoples have and some havnt -- mostly havnt

Only reason it may not pass an mot is on emmissions , have u had it tested ? some cars go thru ok with decats

No Havn't had it tested mate!
Lad who sold it me said It simply wont pass the MoT with that Non-Standard de-cat on!
So he gave me the Brown Old Looking Cat: Converter (Think Its Called)
..AND the thing I think Is the Standard Centre Section

if it was me a would put it thru the mot as it is on the off chance u might not have to change the exhaust about , worst u'll get is a fail in which case then u can change the exhaust n go back for a resit
