didnt know where to post this. i currently have got 03 red vtr, i am wanting a stripped out motor, i dont know whether to keep the sax and strip it and fit vts engine or get 106 gti and do that as already got the 16v engine in so has got the right engine start with. opinions please.

Depends on condition of yours really...

I'm sure you could sell yours and find a older GTi which would work for you.

Can't see point in putting the engine in an 03 Plate, much easier to sell and buy a VTS.

Strange request.

its ok condition, 40k on clock but all good gti's are like 3k up for pretty much standard.
