is this a rare colour or summat cos i cant find any bits for my car at all?? any1 else got a persian red car?

I had a Persian Red Westcoast.

Paint is special order.

Halfords should be able to do you one if you go in with your paint code.

That can be round on the right top strut as you look at the car.

Halfords paint is shit... never get a good match at all

Had a mate who worked in a halfords store for 3 years, they use unofficial codes and measurements...

... dont quote me on that, its just what id heard...


but when ever i bought paint from there in the past its been a shite match.

Mines a westcoast to! i've got some paint from halfords in persian red but havent used it yet. Had a job even getting them to find it in the first place, they havent got the name on file or some shit like that just take the code with you.

pred knows a site that does all the paints . also my mate works in halfords and as long as there mix the paint properly its all good but sometimes people use the wrong amounts which is why the paints crap he used halfords paint on his r32 came out mint

Heard somewhere that its only the Halfords rattle cans that are a crap match. the special order mixed stuff is supposed to be better.

Any motor factors who deal with automotive paint should be able to mix up some paint for you, eithe rin a tin for you to spray or give to a body shop, or they should be able to put in in an aerosol can for you. My local factors do and the match is spot on (My car is also Persian Red)
