passed my test on the 10/11/2006 at about 11 o clock. by 12.30 i had been out and bought this.

first thing i did was change the lights to the black smoked versions

then fitted badgeless grill and lowered it

after that it went through a couple of sets of wheels.
white monza's followed by gun metal VTR rims

fitted gti leather, red carpet, quickshift, strut braces, pipercross induction kit

in febuary this year i stripped everything off it and sold it the way it is in the next picture, regretted it as soon as i saw it driving off down my street.

the next day i went out and bought a red 5 door astra. fitted a few of my own touches and spent quite a bit of money but im missing the saxo too much.

so im driving my astra for the last time next saturday, down to its new owner in aldershot. a 6 hour drive and then hopefully calling in to pic up my new saxo on the way back. will post pictures up when i get it.

Predator_R32 23rd October 2008 23:47

should of kept the saxo, and the white wheels tbh and binned the rear lights

alex19 23rd October 2008 23:48

I wouldn't have bought an astra >_<

I like the stealth one with black VTS wheels :) GTI interior's expensive?

TIPSY 23rd October 2008 23:55

i changed the lights to black jewels, just got no pictures, i got the gti interior for about £300, when i was going back standard i swapped my m8 it for his ps3 and sold the ps3 on ebay for £700 :D.

another black one, again red carpet, again gti interior, compbrake quickshift, half cage, supersprint race system, lowerd 40mm on apex kit, black headlights, smoked jewel rears, strut braces, poly bushes front and rear with poly engine mount, carbon bonnet, black headlinging and black a,b, and c pillar covers, smoothed out door badges, de pinned locks, enclosed induction kit, tidy up engine bay, wide mouth style bumper grill. streamline carbon mirror caps, erm, the list goes on tbh, already got most of it waiting to go in when i get car. just gotta see if the lad im buying it off is available on sat afternoon, if not ive gotta go down to aldershot then come home, then go half way back down country another day to collect car. cant wait to get it now.

TIPSY 25th October 2008 21:26

failing that theres a nice 2 tone one ive got my eye on up in scotland.

TIPSY 1st November 2008 22:23

well. after months of struggling to sell the astra it finally went today, for slightly less than id hoped but it went never the less. with me getting less for my astra i had to change my plans on what saxo i was buying. until i came accross one for a very good deal in ipswich. and with me already being down south i decided to go and see and bought it on the spot. so here it is. :D vts, few bits and peices already done to it. i will keep you updated on whats happening in the future. :D
