Anyway to make a 1.1i saxo x quicker?
induction kit air filter yes and drop in engine and that crap i no but does the air filter and induction kit even do anything worthwhile to the car?
|
Realistically... why bother.
|
To get any noticeable gains from a 1.1 engine, you have to put in a lot of £££.
|
sell it buy something bigger, its the only realistic way.
|

I wouldn't bother. Unless you ain't planning on moving up at all.
Save the cash for a quicker car. Spend the money making the 1.1 toaster better looking. |

Also less text speak. ;) They're not useless, but will not do anything to BHP really, will just give you slightly better engine response. |
turbo cost alot?
|
if you have the money drop in a vts will be cheaper in the long run ...

There is a section for engine and performance. MAybe this should have been posted there? :err:
But, in answer to your question, strip it out, better brakes and suspension |
blow it up?
1.1s are never going to be quick |
Save up for the real thing a vts.
Steve. |
ah this old noodle
my 1.1 was pretty quick (for a 1.1) but tbh it was so heavly stripped (and thats abut all you cn do to em tbh) it was just horrid for every day use (allthough i loved it) had an open filter and a straight through supersprint centre and a piper backbox so was like 5hp above standard if it wasnt fucked (and it was tbh was basically destroying itself from the inside out) but imo its only worth modding a 1.1 for looks then you can put the bits off that onto a vtr/s if you get one later on |
