if you have the spare cash . get the BMC .

i must add , very smart looking motor sir

Saxonator 3rd September 2005 03:11

yeah its the price thats holding me off buying the BMC but im unsure of the sound it will put off

suppose the sound from that and the exaust will compensate for the Speakers lol

cheers Dan even though it is dirty

AdamH 3rd September 2005 03:58

looks good mate

KAMENi 3rd September 2005 04:44

how can you drive with nothing playing?
i'd go crazy (not that i dont like the sound of saxo)...

i'd go for HU and components, but an alarm before that

SaxoAL 3rd September 2005 15:58

SaxoAl - Yep leds will be goin on this when i can be arsed to fit them lol, got yellow interior neons on order too but that was last week ! getting peed off now

thanks for comments ppl

Saxonator 3rd September 2005 23:10

Also any of you boating ppl may notice the clippers in the background of first pic ?

the one you cna see in front is the New York, and the one you can just see through the windows of the car is the Singapore

they are competing in the yacht race which they have to last something like 9 months out at sea and travel the world i think

tgazvtr 4th September 2005 01:06

lovely car i love that colour.

hesslevtr 4th September 2005 03:35

nice car mate
the bmc isnt that loud compered to an open air filter
maybe go for the HU first upto you though

Paul

Saxonator 4th September 2005 21:18

so open air filter then as i wanted to get more sound really

SaxoAL 4th September 2005 22:13

yes. Pipercross or K&N or something like that.

Saxonator 4th September 2005 22:23

JR Induction kit 1

K&N Induction kit

what do you think of these 2 ?

wideboy 5th September 2005 01:09

very nice tints mate - suit it nicely

have you thought about spending your money on getting it lowered instead of induction kit etc?

full kit for £200 isnt too shabby

Saxonator 5th September 2005 02:18

yeah have been thinking about lowering

im only gonna get the springs and then the torsian bar adjusted but all in i can get it as low as i want for about £140

still of ideas but ow me mum £200 and bro £100 !

think the car will get the money instead of family lol

VTS_16v 7th September 2005 03:44

Nice colour and tints.

I am very jealous now. Looks really good.

But how do remain sane without any tunes on.

DevilDamo 8th September 2005 19:01

looking good gav

you can get the full effect of the gold when at a further distance.

as for induction, suspension kits, etc...

i got my bmc induction kit for around £150. yours would be a little cheaper because you have a vtr. speak to john (2modified) and get a quote.

as for suspension, did you mean somebody would lower the car for £140 or is that price including the lowering springs? as you know, john is doing a deal on spax psx suspension kits. you can get a 60mm kit for around £200 and then pay around £120 to have it lowered. if you are only going down 40mm, then you will be able to pick up some springs for around £50. again, speak to john for a deal on these.

but as for speakers, etc... you can't drive a car without some tunes. component speakers are cheap as chips. a decent headunit would set you back around £175/£200. you obviously pay for what you get so if you see a headunit you like and its a little pricey, then save the extra cash. it would be worth it in the long run.
