saxo makeover!

Looking to make my saxo look like this:

Where can I get the parts from, i.e. bonnet, bumper etc and rough estimate of cost?

Any help appreciated.

thanks

CoolC 8th December 2008 23:56

The bumper is standard, been smoothed and splitter added. Bonnet is a bad boy bonnet, they can be quite expensive.
Not too sure on prices for you. You would have to get the bumper filled and sprayed which would be quite expensive.

Mochachino 8th December 2008 23:56

bonnet is £110

as for the rest, all custom?

evans1089 8th December 2008 23:58

Predator_R32 9th December 2008 15:35

if your not doing the labout yourself then its going to cost you a lot mate

there must be a good 5 - 8 grand gone into that car

AlexB 9th December 2008 16:43

euro styling is very expensive

most stuff is custom
even suspensin is usually modified to get the 'stance'

and for the 3 piece rims most cars in that style use your looking over 1000 pounds without tyres

LSOfreak 10th December 2008 00:18

are they keskins?

I want a badboy bonnet. Gets rid of the squaredness of the lights. Never seem to show up on Ebay when i look though.

Same...possibly the worst you can get imo

Saxo_Steveo 10th December 2008 09:48

That is a slick car ! :y:

turnip 10th December 2008 09:53

wtf? spent all that money on that car to get it looking beautiful and they put those mirrors on?and is that an alloy fuel cap i can see on the back?

Nice looking car though must say,but i suppose the suspension and wheels were the biggest cost. Bumper was probably the 3rd cheapest (after the mirrors and fuel cap lol)

this is one of the saxo's from belgium i know this guy total makeover like that : 21 000 € so far .. and car is for sale soon

Curran 10th December 2008 18:15

all the bodywork mods are custom. you cant just buy them off the shelf.

the bonnet has been welded, bumper smoothed, grill custom made etc

iirc he said he had spent over 20k on that car. or something mad.

tbh you could get the same look for a lot less although the wheels will always be expensive.

they are tramont ty2's. your looking at about £1500 for the wheels and tyres

http://www.tramont.fr/

obviously there are other euro wheels about that you could pick up for half the price.

bodywork you could get done for under 1k unless you want a full respray? leather for about 600-1000 depending on what you want retrimmed. then you well on your way to achieving the look.

CHIP 10th December 2008 18:35

Looks smart as hell, always have liked this Saxo. But as said, if your thinking it's just gonna be couple of grand your wrong. Youve probably got that in wheels, tyres & suspension, without even starting bodywork and interior.

If you do decide to go ahead with it, make sure you get a GOOD bodyshop to do the work (unless your very good at stuff like this). Smoothing isnt as easy as you think, and you want it to be right :y:
