tgazvtr 3rd October 2005 01:14

ooooh yes the pulsar, one word sums it up, amazing

rob_s 3rd October 2005 01:16

any pics

Sean 3rd October 2005 01:18

my mate has a 380 brake pulsar. i'll try and get some pics of it up. by far the fastest car i've ever been in, we taped up the number plates and did Dundee-Aberdeen (66 miles) in under half an hour not that i would ever condone this type of behaviour, before anyone *cough-Damo-cough* says anything</font>. amazing cars, yet pretty fragile, especially the 4wd system.

tgazvtr 3rd October 2005 01:20

i have on my phone but i havnt got time to download its grey with red anodised split rims exhaust filter and dump valve. very quick i loved it to bits. great car with 60k on the clock and all for £4500

tgazvtr 3rd October 2005 01:22

what problems has he had? this comes with a 1 year warrenty and also dp motorsport is 10 mins away and thats what they specialise in

Sean 3rd October 2005 01:27

well, the gearbox went, then he wrapped it round a lamppost lol, so when he rebuilt it he bought an evo 9 as his daily driver and went absolutely batshit on the pulsar. full 12k engine rebuild with uprated everything and uprated quaife gearbox with bulletproof diffs (which he got from Japan, can't remember the make). he also put a full cage and buckets in and had the dash covered in alcantara because the standard interior is hideous.
just got to look out for the transfer box and gearbox going, especially if/when the car is lowered, and the standard intercooler is shite so my first mod would be a front mounted intercooler.

tgazvtr 3rd October 2005 01:30

yup my mate would be making a front mounted cooler for it and im gonna keep the engine standard so no more extra strain on the gear box and diffs, also i wont be using it every day ill just be using it for the weekend.

Sean 3rd October 2005 01:32

you sure you need another car mate?
nah go for it mate. as you say for what you get for your money you can't go far wrong with a pulsar.

tgazvtr 3rd October 2005 01:39

the other half will be using the pulsar for work in the week as i can do loads of miles so my saxo will be ideal for work and then ill be getting in my fast car for the weekend. im gonna wait till next year though to buy one.
