see if you can show that you know some background knowledge about the firm.

and apply your spelling ability from there onto sax-p :y:

Mention why you want to be in the trade. You could also compare them with other companies (dont mention names) and highlight this company's plus points that will benefit you more than the others.

'my vast educational base' - you sure??

VTEC-Saxo 24th January 2009 22:25

Curran 24th January 2009 22:30

i wasnt taking the piss...well i kind of was but your 15, they're not going to expect you to know everything. your applying for an apprenticeship. the point of an apprenticeship is to learn on the job.

personally i would rephrase it.

VTEC-Saxo 24th January 2009 22:37

16 lol :P but still they want you to feed them shit :S

Viper 24th January 2009 22:54

no. they want the truth, so they know what you are like as a potential employee and a person.

otherwise they are wasting their time employing a liar...

im 20 m8 and in my experience(from past knock backs whov explained where i went rong) they want you to show real enthusiasm with good confidence in what your doing(but dnt be cocky) show some backgroung knowlegde in your experience with relevance to the position research there company and show you know about them and your not just randomley applying, giv reasons why u fink u'd be good to them and things like tellin them your hobbies help alot, for examlple i love the gym, im a gym member, they love stuff like that because it shows you can take responsibility and dedicate yourself to something etc etc and ask alot of questions bout them and the position dont just agree, show them your interested in the job and the firm not jus pay, hope it goes well for you m8
