What does the black button do on the fob? when i press it, it turns off the 'beeps' when activating and deactivating the alarm... and i can't find any information on it anywhere....

I'm just curious of what the actuall button's purpose is..?

just silent activation isnt it? so if there is people hanging around who could be dodgy, and you unlock the car while walkin towards it, they wont hear it unlock and be able to get in it :) or get something from it quickly

i had toad alarm, it does just silence it, nothing more, although i think you can custom it to press the black button and it says things, not sure where tho or price, and talking about alarms, does anyone who where the nearest place to Dukinfield (Manchester) is to get a decent alarm and fitting or should i put this in the north west section?

I have a Ai606 sorry.
