Headunit Dilemma...

Okay my rear phono outputs on my headunit have mysteriously stopped working the cables look fine and ive checked inside the phono ends...

Anyone know of somewhere that repairs headunits cheaply? One of these places you send it away to? would have to be professional place though!

or do I get a DVD/TV headunit?

or should i get an external line driver so that I can input the front phono's and run rear output from the line driver?

Suggestions welcome!

id still give em a message tbh, just cause its out of warranty doesnt mean they wont fix it just means they might charge you :P, well or could say no but thats bad customer services :D ( if its anything like pc hardware sending back...)

Oh I have sent back plenty of pc hardware! My PC I just built is getting featured in Custom PC this month coming (I think) their photographer is coming up to see me within the next week or so for picture taking

Solved the output problem now! Ordered a Vibe Delta box so I now have more outputs than i need! and they are a higher voltage so should sound better!

Ooo i love customPC some amazing builds in there, what spec you got?!

Lippy 29th January 2009 21:54

this thread changed subject lol

nothing is so special about it... I just modified my PC and put it up on their forum and then one of the editors said he wanted to feature it and would give me £400 worth of stuff for featuring it so of course I said yes!

It would take me ages to write out all the parts etc so il post a link to the blog!

although i just tried it and it doesnt work, there are a couple of piccys on my progress thread on page 4 or 5 though!

yeh i dont really need to upgrade but while i got money and im off to uni for next 3 years finally... i am 20 going late :P lol got my e6600@3.3 but i got a pa120.3 so its a bit of a waste with that shit chip lol but then no good deals around, pc hardware is expensive atm cos of the exchange rate and rising costs so really havent been tempted to buy :| i7 is just to expensive to encourage the impulse buy lol

My GPU is a bit poo though, its a zotac 8800GTX+ not really keeping up very well, maybe il buy another one, who knows!
