best sat nav ?
 

Im looking at buying a sat nav and was wondering if anyone had an oppinion ofa good one to buy. Currently looking at Road Angel Navigator 9000 as i want the speed camera alerts with navigation.

hello mate.. personally if you want both a good sat nav and a good speed camera detector then id go seperate. Either go for a garmin or a tomtom. Garmin as a general rule are more reliable and aftersales care is good. But tomtom are more smoother and neater and have more to them.
In terms of a speed camera detector go for Road angel or snooper. They pick up all the bad boy speed cameras from gatso to mobile etc.

I cant say an opnion of the road angel navigator as i have never used one. I sell the things for a living.

dont get a garmin! there utter shit!

iv got the nuvi model and its toss. tomtom all the way tbh much more user friendly and easier make your own

Garmin are far better than any other satnav out there. Tomtom are too unreliable with regards to the units freezing, not turning on etc. Garmin units hardly ever go wrong and if they do, garmin will replace the unit there and then for you without having to be sent back for repair. Ive had my nuvi 660 for about 12months now and its been faultless

Not sure how good it is...but I got a good deal on amazon for a garmin, it should be here tomorrow. was going to order the same one on halfrauds, but the free delivery turned out to be £12 (robbing barstewards)

And garmin was the best one for Bulgaria, and I am thinking of buying property there

I've had a TomTom and a Garmin. I would say go for the Garmin mate.

don't get a tom tom there shit my gf got one and its slow as fook pluss brake very easy its her second one.

i work all over the uk and my sat nav is like a best friend.

I have tried quite a few over the last year, from tomtom's, garmins etc and the best 1 i have ever used is a nokia version, you can find them on ebay.
