My mate drives a 1.4 renault clio I got a saxo, we was comparing our cars as lads do, my mate started his engine and it would tick over properly. Possible he flooded it, then his engine was violently shaking, I mean moving a good 2 inches. Then I sed give it a gentle revv to clear the problem all of a sudden it slowly cut out a big suction of air then revved?

Has anyone got any clues to what it is?

Sounds like its dropped a cylinder, tell him check his spark plugs and HT leads or coilpack.....

haha! all was well went to his friends garage,. plugged it in and found the spark plug was faulty. its in a plastic tube which i ent seen before. before i knew it he was back to flooring it...... his only had his car 2 weeks. i had a corsa done the same but not constantlyl. ah well he will find out the hard way :)
