Cigarette lighter and headlight

my cigarette lighter works fine for my sat nav but when i put my sidelights or headlights on it doesnt work, as soon as i have turned them off the charger for my satnav stops, any ideas ???????

must be a wiring problem, take your centre console out and take a look at the wires behind it, if its not obvious may have to take it to a garage
