idle problem on vtr help?
 

hi all,great site keep up the good work,any 1 help me with my problem on my vtr its a s-reg and sometimes it runs fine then u can stop 4 petrol or what ever get in fire it up and the revs stick at about 3000rpm,u turn it bk off start it again and then its normally ok till ya turn it off again,any ideas any1 please?iv been told its the stepa motor but dont wanna pay all that 4 one if its something else,thanks all in advance..

it will be the stepper motor/idle control valve.

will cost £65(give or take a 5er)

will be well worth spending.
