Misted up headlight.

Hey guys.

Well after tinting my headlights a while back all was ok, then one started misting now and then but nothing serious.

Now its misted up fully and it wont go away.....

Is there any way i can get it to demist and then re seal it so it doesnt mistup any more??

thanks.

take the bulb holder out, and blast the hair dryer in there till the condensation goes.

then put the bulb holder back in. do it indoors though so its a warm environment. if you put the bulb holder back in whilst in the cold it will just mist up again.

see i think its misting as its not sealed properly, so i will have to remove the headlight probs.

But taking in inside and doing what u said above should sort it

it may not be sealed right as well.....but try what i said and see if it re-appears after a f few days and go from there

yea good plan mate lol

Just out of intrest aswell, i have HID's in, not sure if you have them/know this but the back of the bulb is ALOT bigger, so the rubber seal thing doesnt sit snug on the back of the bulb.

Could that be the problem maybe???

that could be the problem, although surely it would then occur in both lights?

hmm true....

I will go out and have a look at stuff, see if i can get in demisted and then make sure the rubber on the back is snug and see how it goes, if it does it again all take it all off and re-seal it.

Wot a fook on :wall:

thanks again :)
