So ide go for 50mm...

Aron 9th July 2009 21:04

no cuz 50mm would kill the handling a bit more(unless you have a very good setup) but wouldnt look as good as 60mm

LeeM 9th July 2009 21:05

get some 60mm springs

bmx91ben 10th July 2009 08:55

I'd take 40mm for practicality

saxomk1 11th July 2009 12:21

what would happen to the handeling if i did slam it

JimoVTR 11th July 2009 12:25

depends how much you spend slamming it
you could spunk a few hundred on some h&rs or something and it would be quite good
or you could splash out and go fully custom for a few quid more aswell as balancing the rear with some 19mm bars and a 22mm arb off a vtr/s and it would be quite fun in the corners

its down to how deep your pockets are but ive seen cars down around 100mm that still handled ok

most people would just get a lowering kit though for a good compromise

im thinking 50 60 mm im looking to spend around 200 250 soo any ideas

LeeM 11th July 2009 17:39

you looking to use just springs or springs and shocks?

Tontsy 11th July 2009 17:43

to tuck 14 in the arches ... slam it!
im on 14, look at my thread, thats on bumpstops, take it from there... tyres are 165/65, so got a couple of inch in the side wall to play with for your height.

saxomk1 11th July 2009 19:29
