The cleanest Mk2 posi vts out there

Hi all started my progress thread today now i no how to upload my photos just for your viewing so here goes

WHEN I GOT IT.....

Brought the saxo vts 02 plate in may 2009 with 89,000 on the clock with 3 previous owners the mileage seem's a bit high but i have been over it and it's sound.

So now it came down to price it was up for 2195 after pointing out the high milage I GAVE HER 1900 and she gave me the keys so i had myselth a sax.

HOW IT STANDS.....

de-slatted grille

First mod to do was to get rid of the grillE so out it come dremmeled the slats off color coded it blue and then black meshed it with some tidy black chevrons job done for around 45 quid cheaper than the dimmer ones and i think it looks better imo.

in a mess with wheels

So as you can see i polished my vts RIM yes rim i did one and gave up lol after a week straight of paint removeing and then sanding to remove all the pitting and then the 40 grain to take the kerbing out and then going from 80 -1500 grain to get it smooth then metal polishing it for the shine.

I thought f... this i put my hands up to anyone thats done a full set its not an easy task by any means.
