power problem
 
i pased my driving test yesterday and drov my own car for the first time my car is saxo westcoast it have induction kit and twin exhaust pipes it still has the cat on it tho
basically id driven it all day reallly fine at this stage then later in the day i had problem it just lost power it still starts and moves but stuggls to gain speed i had to drive it home but half way my mate pulled me over because my cat box was glowing red as in really hot was literally glowing and thts the problem the car starts but cuts out after 5 secs if i give it revs it slugs like the noise wen you acelarate on go kart
i had my mate look at it and he said the cat might be blocked
does anyone have any idea what the problem is has it happened to anyone on here

whats ya temp gauge and coolent level at?

as in the water temp level it was at normal level
