Blackberry or I Phone

I know this has probably been asked a million times, (I have searched, but cant really find an exact comparison), but I don't really know which phone.

I currently have a Blackberry Curve 8900 and I was looking at the new I Phone 3G S in O2 the other day and I really like it.

I was thinking about getting the I Phone 3G S and just wanted other people's opinions e.g. people who actually own an I Phone and the pro's and con's and compared to the Blackberry.

I would appreciate people's opinions :D

Thanks

I have an iPhone 3G, best phone ive ever had, only downside to me is the bluetooth capability, you can't send/receive songs/pictures all you can do with the bluetooth is connect to a headset, which is a bit shit.

Other then that though the phone is incredible, therse not alot you can't do on it! Never owned a blackberry, so can't say much about them, seem more aimed at the business man wanting handy access to their emails

plus I own a blackberry and an I phone,

What will my next phone be? Another blackberry. Touch screens are fucking gay

i strongly agree with Ryan, touch screens are good in theory but after a while become a pain in the arse especially when covered in finger prints lol

I have a 8900 curve, its an awesome phone, infact im having a 2nd one

The main issue comes to texting and the fact that my Iphone you need both hands to use it, the touch screen on it isnt the best imo and generally i got sick of knocking people flying walking and texting.

Blackberry 8900s are fucking gay!

I have one and its rubbish.

Iphone 3GS ftw

Most of the people who post will say get an iphone over a blackberry.

Doesn't the 3G S have proper bluetooth then? I like my blackberry, really loved it when I first had it, but seems there is nothing more to do with it. Really good phone tho!

So which do you prefer then? I used to have a touch screen and did get a bit annoying, but the I Phone seems to offer a hugh amount of things on it.

I've probably sort of answered my original question. I seem sorta biased towards the I phone 3G S. Another main reason is I was looking for an I pod classic and thought why not have phone, i pod, camera etc all in one lol.

They do seem quite expensive, but if I do get one, will probs go with the 32gb. May aswell have all the memory lol. I love music so will probably need bigger memory lol

Ryan 4th August 2009 22:39

Incase it wasnt obvious, I prefer my blackberry.

Rob-6 4th August 2009 22:39

i love my iphone ive got the 3g 16gb and it one of the best things i own!

JCs_VTR 5th August 2009 16:49

Have you thought about the blackberry storm (9000), i think its really good quick web browsing, easy to navigate ect although the battery life sucks have to charge everyday thought about the iphone but for money wise not worth it, you have to pay an additional fee just for the iphone let alone the contract too

The blackberry is more about ringing and texting, its the Iphone that has all of the gimmics (aka apps).

Blackberrys key feature is push email which works like text, normal text and phone calls. None of the shite that goes with the silly touch screens from apple/samsung etc...

Only time an I phone is good is if you want girls (male point of view) they drop their keks over Iphones because they are shiny.

J222JRA 5th August 2009 21:24

I have my own business and i have to say Blackberry makes my life much easier. Would never have anything else.

daniel7912 6th August 2009 13:21

Ive got the blackberry curve and i love it, so easy to write texts and emails on

My friends got the new Iphone and it is really smart but im not a fan of the whole touchscreen thing, especially when texting.

Graeme 6th August 2009 13:48

iphone is ace for texting in my eyes

took me about a week to get used to though but now i can do it without looking aswell as it learns your most common words you use and knows when your spelling things wrong
