Hello..this is probably a silly post but i am really tempted to remove the Citroen and Saxo badge's from the back of my VTR and I just wondered how difficult this is? Is there any risk of any paint being taken off?
many thanks, jez |
you will be leftwith holes so dont bother
do a search and youll find more info |
2 small holes on one side and 3 on the other
ive got it debadged but u need to get body shop to weld behind it then fil |
I removed mine - was left with tiny holes (noticeable only close up) soon after got them smoothed in, i reckon its worth removing them actually. And its very easy to do, and shouldn't damage any paintwork at all.

Thankyou for the advice people

Or you could have them colour coded

leave them on and be proud.

As devildamo says - colour code them.
Adds a nice subtle touch and you`re still proudly showing your badges ![]() |
Leave them on Jez! Much less hassle, instead of paying a bodyshop to fill in the holes, put the money towards other areas of the car.... and besides, it's more "patriotic" towards the saxo-ness of your car!
![]() Sorry for the controversy but i really dislike de-badged cars...looks a weeny bit silly IMO. |

Just an example of the colour coded badges I had on my VTR...
![]() Still there but subtle and effective (in my opinion). |
|
what mate! leave the badges on! the pannel costs £50 exc p & p and then you have to pay to get it painted...not worth it!
BE PROUD and keep the badges! ![]() ![]() |
