Right,

I bought A new hard drive, and now when ever I start the machine up with it on, it comes up with RROD! Saying error E68? But when I start it without its fine??

Can anyone shed some light on the matter?

ok, thanks. i was hoping someone might have had an answer for me!

I bought it off a online shop, so i am waiting for a response. But i was under the imression someone sensible could offer support/or even had the same problem

hard drive is obviously faulty,,google the code and defo send it back

i had an identical problem matey i just took mine out then fitted it again and it worked. it was the bottom left qtr that went red and error 68 contact microsoft, turned out to be hardware ie the hard drive error mine was second hand so i just wiggle it or refit it everytime it happens and it works
