Does the anpr system check vehicle tax, mot and insurance or just insurance ?

Depends, normally everything.

Im all legal. Its just me and a mate have been debating it for some time and wondered if anyone actually knew.

So they could know if it had mods declaired or not? but i suppose they'd have to get a decent look to notice the lights arent standard etc...

If you are uninsured or somthing and its shows up on the ANPR, the po po man in the drivers seat will hear a NEE NARR sound in his car and a light flashes up on what the car was flagged for. Then he does his handbrake turn and chases you.

It dosent tell him that you have after market lights on and you didnt tell your insurance company.

I learned a few things on there... One episode closed the debate on whether the police copters have thermal imaging cameras or not, to identify if your Growing the wacky backy in your loft... I can see a few people from my areas doors coming off soon, Lol.

I got pulled up 2 weeks after putting my new number plates on after gettin all the registration docs through and paying to change them over.
They said i wasn't showing insurance!!! (which i had)
I was livid luckily he knew my uncle so he just left it at that :)

I think I must have watched nearly every episode of road wars, how sad is that lol

that would have been becouse the ANPR is 6weeks slow.

I'm loving road wards too! Dont have sky anymore so have to put up with sky 3 episodes :(
