travis the SAXMAX racecar

hi guys new to the site thought i would finally join as my saxo is being rebuilt finally after owning him for nearly a year now.... the car was built to race in the saxmax series for my friend abbie eaton and over the next two years became on of the quickest and most developed cars on the grid! until the last race of 2008 at the first corner of snett it all went AWOL and ended up like this:

after that i took him off abbies hands in the thought of rebuilding it for a track day and rally car. already equipped with FIA cage, seat and fire ex systems.

after cutting off the damage:

then the slow rebuild has begun hope you enjoy the pics and feel free to comment :D

That yellow and blue one at the start was in Dunmow in Essex a good few weeks back! :D

felix27 29th March 2010 21:02

theres a fleet of yellow and blue ones they are all owned by dave ferguson motorsport you can arrive and drive! his workshop is well worth a walk around fleet of 4 cars plus 182 cup and loads of grass track stuff

Phils_VTR 29th March 2010 21:05

Yeah, theres always ferguson motorsport van things down my way, but yeah i saw one of those yellow/blue ones with bright orange vtr wheels fully stripped with roll cage and sexy seats.

felix27 29th March 2010 21:08

yehh the seats are huge! but might be a slight pain on the road...... ah well :D
