anyone?

LeeM 22nd April 2010 19:34

you doin it yourself? you need to take the head off, change the gasket and redo the head bolts at correct torque, if you can do that its easy, if you cant its not.

JoeExpose 22nd April 2010 19:39

dont you need to take the cambelt off though?

LeeM 22nd April 2010 19:40

yes, you said that was being changed though?

JoeExpose 22nd April 2010 19:53

o lol, i forgot sorry, i was just so keen on the headgasket :P

its a complete waste of time and money to do the head gasket when doing the belt just for the sake of it, stick with doing the belt and tensioner and leave it at that

im with the above "if it aint broke dont fix it" if your h/g isnt fooked why change it? its more likely to fail again if its disturbed

redadair85 22nd April 2010 22:46

yeah and you mite have to take of ur inlet manifold ect not worth the hassle if theres no signs of it going

JoeExpose 22nd April 2010 22:54

is there any signs when you no its going?
