any difference between mk1 and mk2 vts..

any difference between mk1 and mk2 vts engine blocks?
iv been told that one block is different to the other
as one is cast steel and one is alloy, is this true?

Same engine as far as I'm aware.

Around Sept 2001 on an X reg they swapped for a 3plug ECU.

white_vtr 22nd April 2010 23:10

Luke 22nd April 2010 23:11

None, although the 3plug isn't as tuneable!

white_vtr 22nd April 2010 23:13

Thought the newer ones were 130bhp and older ones were 120bhp, due to something to do with the EGR vave?

AndySAXO 23rd April 2010 08:25
