my mate has just had his cav turbo manifold made up and coated, i must say, its a work of art and the coating is top notch.

im not sure of the name of the place he had it done at, the company he had make the manifold sent it away to be coated.

the place that made the manifold was nortec, google them and get in touch, i can recommend the place they use as his coating on the mani is awesome.

camcoat in warrington. Have done alot of stuff for me and my dad, calipers, manifolds and even valves and pistons for my 16v engine. They do a good job

out of interest, how does this look when its done?

It is usually a off white colour. It is very rough and will Take your skin off, the chrome off your tools etc etc. So be very careful when fitting if you have expensive tools. If you have warranty on on your tools then they won;t replace them if it is because of chrome rubbed off.
I fitted some coated manifolds on a JUDD recently, looks top notch

Hah my tools aren't pretty anyway!

Just googled it, I like!

Is it really resilient or will it chip off eventually?

It is very tough stuff. It will crack off under proper abuse. But you'd have to scrape the manifold on the road to do any damage
