For how shit they are them Lotus's are a good looking car.

Ryan 19th July 2010 18:33

cropping in PP fail.

Viper 19th July 2010 18:41

elaborate

Ryan 19th July 2010 18:47

Having several different aspect ratios in a selection looks pap.

Viper 19th July 2010 18:52

ahh right. On their own would they all be OK?

Ryan 19th July 2010 18:57

Still think the 'slim' or widescreen look looks wank myself.

As its often adopted by people who cant crop properly in camera.

I know silverstone is a bag of shite to take pics at.

The only time id personally use something wide like that is for a very big print where thats the canvas size/frame

Viper 19th July 2010 18:59

Well I didn't find it too bad as I was sat in the stands for photos on Friday so managed to avoid fencing.

I did close crops like that because the background was a Santander banner and though it would look shite if it was chopped half way

Ryan 19th July 2010 19:02

the good side of the fence at silly i still felt like i needed a telescope rather than a camera. Only the new section can you get semi close for a nice corner and they didnt use it that day.

santander cropped halfway like pic 2?

Viper 19th July 2010 19:04

yeh. I'm not sure if it looks better with that in or with it cropped out.

I was ok with length (lol) as I had the 100-400.

MAggots and Becketts was OK as well

Ryan 19th July 2010 19:07

its a racetrack, I dont know why people have an obsession with trying to crop as much of the things that are part of the track out of it.
