gearbox question.
 

Fitting a vts gearbox to an R ( apprently ) wouldnt loose any top speed but would increase acceleration i hear.

But in doing this would your fuel consumption increase a shit load ?
Cause my gearbox has a leak somewhere and i was just wondering if i ever needed to replace it what would the pros and cons be of an S box in it. Cheers.

Oh yeah, and is the rev limit on a VTR assigned to the engine or is it the gearbox that causes the limit.So if you put an S box on would you still have the R's rev limit of 6250 rpm. Possibly a stupid question for some of you but i was just inqusitive ?
