Am detailing my car NOW but need help
 

Ive been doing my car today and am now just finished plolishing. this is were im confused. do i now jetwash the car or shampoo it with 2bm method or just put my sealent straight ontop of the polish?? i am using chemicle guys wet morrior finish.

Also i think its sealent and then wax finaly. so when do i use my dodo red mist.???

dont re-wash the car after polish

ok so just use my wet mirror finish straight on top, then dodo juice wax on top of that then done yeah. Do i then use the red mist like 2 days later or sumin???

Do wash the car or use an IPA wipedown or even DoDo lime prime.

You need to remove all excess polishing oils and also see what level of correction has been achieved.

damit now i have two people saying 2 different things. so if i do wash it shall i use my 2bm method with my chemicle guys bodywash and wax, thats all i got so far Is that ok

and also i polished by hand using auto glym srp. i know its shit am gonna get sumin better soon, so what should i do???

Ensure that all residue has been fully removed and then yes go ahead and seal.

I would personally re-wash my own car or do a full IPA wipedown before sealing but thats just me.

No you seal then wax after mate, no washing required.

i wouldnt wash it after polishing using AG SRP you will just strip away the fillers in it and it will just look like you havent polished it again!!!

the best thing to do before applying a sealent then wax would be to use something like lime prime lite as then there is little abbraive/striping action acting on your freshly polished surface. If you really wanted to you could use a Quick Detailer after poilishing just too prepare the surace a little, ready for sealent/wax.

Im sure alot of people would simply go straight from polishing onto the wax/sealent though thats what id find best with my vague knowledge. Some of the super cleaning whores would more than likely have a special preparation product to use after polish, but then again they would also be applying there products via machine not hand.

Long story short... just apply the sealent/wax straight after polishing in your case, imo.

To some members there is only over the top..

For maximum bond of the sealant and wax you do need to cleanse the paintwork. This removes all the oils and grease left behind from polishing.

Personally i use Dodo Lime Prime Lite.......then add sealant and wax.

bit late now but personally after using srp i would go straight to wax. doing anything else could remove the fillers.

right, have obviuosly done it by now lol, and did wash it after using srp nevermind. but do want to get sumin else. im thinking chemicle guys all in 1 polish and then after that dodo lime prime lite then my wet mirror finish then my wax then a day later my red mist. i think that will work perfect,

correct me if im wrong and it wont
