106 Quicksilver Problems

My mrs has a 106 quicksilver which has a problem.

The problem is that when left to idle , it will eventually bog itself down (usually takes a few mins) and cuts out.

Also when driving, sometimes the revs will die and it will cut out, or when you go on the power the revs will die and then all of a sudden come back to life, quite often this is when pulling off roundabouts (quite dangerous).

Ive changed the lamda simply as i had a spare one, but need some ideas of where to go with it.

Please any suggestions folks.

When was it last serviced?

last 2k miles probably, theres additional info that may help.

It had the exact same problem on the first engine, however this died in a bad way so i ended up fitting a newer quicksilver engine, i have to use the inlet/throttle body and all the sensors off the old engine and the exact same problem is still there, which leads me to presume that its a sensor/ecu related issue.

Clean all the sensors out, if you can replace them as that is where the problem will most likely lie.
Have you changed the fuel filter recently as it may be clogged up with gunk which would also cause this.
Then if it still persists look into plugs, injectors, coilpack

Ive changed the fuel filter, coilpack , injectors are still the same as they always have been. Any sensors in particular to begin with , and things like icv, tps and maf sensor engine specific ?
