As said before you have to move the power steering fluid which is very easy, Because you can use the bracket supplied with the kit and then use the next slot along on the slam panel. *A LONGER PIPE OF ABOUT 3 INCHES IS NEEDED*

I then also used the original bracket that holds the standard air system in place on the side of the engine and just bent it and moulded it into the right position so the kit sat in position just ontop of the radiator so it would get full air running through it rather than it being sat right behind the slam panel and getting no air, Had to slightly grind of an area under the air induction kit so it wouldnt rub, *only took a small amount off*

and there you go, kit fitted absolutly perferctly once i maid these small changes.

Hope that helps ;)

Vince

Get the raceland induction kit from kamracing

I think that or the bmc cda are the 2 best ones to get

Im not a fan of the raceland one,

i have a BMC now - but i dont know if it does any difference as the car dosent run now!

Vinceuk that looks really nice but tell me, what does it sound like?

rollerdan 6th September 2010 17:34

bmc ftw or pipercross viper kit

Uprated panel filter and 'good' cold air feed are the best way to go in my opinion. Induction kits are mainly for looks.

BMC with good cold air feed is best of the induction kits though.

For deep and loud i'd get a k&n 57i

Personally i'd stick with a standard airbox and an uprated pannel filter though.

i rate the raceland indution with green cotton filter, piper forced inductionnot bad too

Get a procomp carbon fibre one , very nice bits of kit hard to come across though

I can tell you for a fact that a Raceland induction kit is better than a standard airbox with uprated panel filter.

Saw a 5.5Bhp gain on my VTS :)

Hi, I was looking at buying a pipercross viper, but then heard rumours they werent that good. Was wondering if anyone on here would be able to advise me on 1:- whether these rumours are true or not and 2:- what to get as an alternative if they are. Thanks

I have just ordered 3 different new induction kits today, I am gonna have a play about when I get time to see which does the best for me
