samkemp91 19th October 2010 20:06

tbh you should have it back in 2 weeks.

swampy 19th October 2010 20:20

They are only open office hours.
Do you have the green slip?

sean1537 19th October 2010 20:24

Mine took about 6 weeks when I bought my car, I wouldn't have waited much more than that before ringing the guy i bought it from though.

Saxguy 20th October 2010 17:57

yeah i have got the green slip.
i did try ringing him but it was a mobile number so he must of had a new sim card for it as it always says the phone is off. so i messaged him on ebay asking where is my log book and he said

it has been sent try dvla they pissed me about with
my other cars i just bought i been waiting 8 weeks
for mine.
so when i ring them what should i say to them?
cheers all

Go to your local dvla office, i didnt get mine for 5 months so i was driving around with the car in somebody elses name then when i came to tax it i was stuffed so went to the dvla office with the green slip and she changed it in my name there and then and i recieved the logbook in 2 weeks... obviously the previous owner didnt send it away but more fool him if i got done by a camera.

Saxguy 20th October 2010 18:15

ok ill have a look to see if there is one around here. yeah my tax is due november so i need it asap lol. haha yeah i should get done by a camera so he gets a nice bill lmao.
next time i get a car im gonna send the log book off myself.

chris1357 20th October 2010 19:25
