Lowering Kit
 

Hey sorry av put another one but ive been looking at a good few threads and im still no sure.

ive got a wee 1.1 flat arch, im wanting it lowered about 40mm what would be best springs to get front and rear. just looking for a nudge in the right direction.

then i think ill get them fitted at a garage as im no to good on the mechanical side o things yet.

only need springs for the front, if your drop the front 40mm then the back would have to be about 50mm to make it sit right. theres threads like this everyday mate, plenty are good to look through. just keep looking and you'll find loads of information :)

Aye cheers bud ive looked at a good few like, got a rough idea, the sorings thats on them the now are rusty as hell so want to get them off and lower as it sits way high makes saxo alloys look tiny. cheers mate

The best on a budget is the Apex -35mm suspension kit.

will do delboy =] and cheers for that kam think they look good will look up a bit more on them, what would be best to lower the back with them on ? so the nose is down more as i hate the look of them when arse is slammed and nose is way up lol

and 35mm will that drop it enough to be just over the front wheel of the saxo alloy as right now theres a good few inch gap looks like ive got toy wheels on it... just noticed tringaling comment, do you mean a front and rear kit ? thats what i was looking at to start with and obviously i would lower the torsion bar aswell, i want it slammed but enough so i dont scrape every road hum i come to as theres plenty round my way

Just had a look mate like how thats came out think 35mm and 45mm is what im after :y:

If you want the front over your wheel, your talking -50mm or 60mm atleast mate, back would be 50mm if u want I higher

how do i check it on my wheels just measure the gap and see how low it would be on it dropped 40-50mm ? ken such a dingy question but might be more behind it and im useless at this stuff the now haha

Measure that gap from the middle of your centre cap, to the bottom of your arch, and see what the gap is E.g. 36cm, to drop it 50mm you would keep going till the gap hits 31cm :)

Yep ive been looking at them like, how much do you think will cost to get the back lowered in a garage my mate can do the springs, but no sure about letting him touch the back haha
