Hey guys, i was wondering if you could cut the original saxo ariel down to size and use the tip/nib thing again to finnish it off ?

Yes and it will still work fine.

i shortend mine just by cutting it with a pair of pliers,you can pull the top cap off and put it on the top of the new shortend bit

Or borrow one off a picasso or simular

yeah man u can do that i did mine

reasonably easy to do mate. just trim the shortened bit down a little at the end so the nob bit sticks back on properly
