Deep bellowing noise from engine ?
 

Had a problem with the car today, went to start it up and put it into reverse then it cut out, went to start it up but it was just firing up but not starting then when it did start it was loud like if the exhaust had gone deep bellowing nose and the engine management light was flickering on and off? Not much power to move the car. Turned it off then started it up again it was running normal now what could it be? :n:

See how it goes mate,could have been some dirt in the fuel lines thats now cleared.

mine does it sometimes, dodgey temp sensor or coilpack etc, ends up running on 2/3 cyclinders, normally only when its quite cold

Had a look in my book it said that I might be that or spark plugs or ignition thanks lads.;)
