Exhaust tip movement (recess)

When my mate helped me fit the exhaust it sat perfect in the recess, bang in the middle, after about a month its slowly moved and now touching the left recess.

How do i get it back into the middle and stop it from moving in the future?

a strong as f**k clamp mate or do what i did with my super sprint and put 3 spot welds on the joint to stop it moving after the clamp is in place.

But when its left in the recess there is no rattle?
