fitting mk1 vtr manifold to mk2 furio

i was just wondering if anyone could ensure me that it is possible to de-cat my furio this way? i was also wondering if anyone could tell me what lambda sensors are and what i will have to do with them after i de-cat my car as i have no idea. thanks
