My saxo vtr maritius blue mk2 01
 

Ok never done this before so you got to bare with me. ( Yes my gramma and spelling is also shit so excuse that ;) and also photos are taken by a mobile phone so not the best! )

Right how it all started.

Bought my little saxo from a women local, i got it for a good price as she got a new job with a company car and wanted rid as no driveway space. This is the day i got it :





Its on 64K and still is, Needed a good service.


So i set about getting the parts for a major service and it had the following parts :

Cambelt kit
water pump
flushed the engine
oil
oil filter
spark plugs
fuel filter
Green performance panel air filter
flushed coolant
coolant
thermostat
clutch kit
2 new front tyres
Re adjusted tampets
rear calipers
handbrake cables
adjusted handbrake
Needed tracking that got done!
Cleaned Throttle body

Half of that didnt actually need doing but thought id start a fresh with it look after it etc.

Then i took it to a local bodywork spesh to get the car stripped back with the buffer try and get a few scratches out as this maritius blue is a fucker for little marks and scratches.

Got the car back looked alot better.

I noticed that one of the panels on the passenger side had a gap so i took it off to find someone sprayed shit loads of silicon between the panel and bodywork as the clips were all snapped so i took the panel off was a job and half that as the panel was solid with silicon :



Was worst than that but basically silicon was everywere and were ever there was a plastic clip they was a blop of the shitty white stuff, whats up with people?

So i cleaned it all up and fixed it back with new clips, Also did both door cards while i was there put new clips in.

That day i also sprayed both ends of the front bumper matched in well not a bad colour to spray actually when u do little bits




Then i gave engine bay a good clean :



I needed 2 new front seats and mine had collasped so i got 2 front seats from loz from here.

So today i set about doing them stripped it all out





Needed a damn good clean so i cleaned inside everywere, cleaned the carpet with terps and also the seats.

Outcome was every good the seats now look like new terps really cleaned them up well will get a picture!

I then gave the car a really good clean :D n fitted some new front and back plates:




Rusty backbox tip lol

Ok so next week its having new front brake setup dics pads etc, it will need for nothing after that :D :D :D :D :D



WHEN im happy with the car i may mod it or i may sell it!!!

Very pleased with engine right now its running SWEET! well so it should after all parts thats gone in so far!

Ive decided to keep the vtr. Although i miss my vts so much wish i never sold her :(

I noitced the car was leaking oil on the right hand side of the engine block very slightly :( so today it's gone in for a headgasket change and all the seals. So engine will be running sweet again in the next couple of days!

I dropped the headgasket and it scraped along my drive way lol :( think it will be alright????????



When i get car back im going to start to soft mod her so will keep updating this.
