I got pulled the other night for my hids (8000k) and my mate in his subura didn't when he has no cat and his exhaust pop and bangs all the time and even flames I got let of with a warning and said I have to change them witch i have now but I just think it's unfair tbh

Someone driving an Impreza is more likely to be all legal and above board, and a decat is less of an inconvenience to other drivers than poorly aligned HIDs.

i 2nd that, but its also the fact your in a saxo, i get pulled all the time, they ask for my licence and move on, silly really and a waste of money!

Because people who run aftermarket hid's are fucking annoying. I can't say I've ever been blinded by a decat tbh.

8000k will look very blue/purple so that's why you got pulled.

Ironic really as the 8000k will produce less light than the usual 6000k kit.. making them less dazzling.

You have illegal lights that dazzle people at night. I think the po-po have been very fair in giving you chance to take them off, when they could just have slapped you with a fine there and then
