Spax adjustable's.. How do you adjust.
 

So i bought a VTR today that had Spax adjustable suspension on it. I was a numpty and forgot to ask how do they adjust the stiffness?

Spax website says there are 28 settings. What way would i turn the nut to make the suspension firm?

They are adjustable height, not sure how changing the height would affect the firmness of them... I guess lower for a firmer ride?

your wrong, highering or lowering doesn't change the firmness, totally different thing altogether and theres usually a knob you turn either on the shock body or the very top of the shock

The stiffness will need to be adjusted dependent on what height you set it at as well. You'd be better off taking it to a proper Suspension Geometry company and letting them sort it for you.

Bullens it was you un-needed post underneath that he is commenting on. The guy was just asking a simple question and you overreacted, and its not even your car, stick to giving advice and keep your estrogen levels at a minimum.

hahaha, it doesn't even say if the op has coilovers or not, because spax also make standard macpherson struts so saying highering or lowering is pointless

if its coilover suspension you can raise the spring platform but that won't do a thing to affect the firmness of the shocks

your clearly dumb, have to be on the site over 30 days aswell as 100 posts, have fook all to sell anyway so i'm not bothered about the for sale section

I know exactly what a coilover is, what you have just described is raising the height. So what is highering?
