w reg saxo
what type of fan does the 2000 w reg saxo use its from the crossover years
mk1 or mk2 if anyone knows could you please let me know as i need to know thanks |
need to know as i pit a w reg engine loom in my car to run a single plug vtr engine in a 3 plug furio and now my fan and temp dial dont work
has anyone done this conversion or knows of this problem at all i have a mk2 fan and a mk1 rad (been told the rad doesnt make a difference) but what fan did the w reg saxo have can also get pics of the plug thats left from the mk2 fan loom if needed |
does nobody know what fan the w reg 2000 vtr uses
its the single plug mk2 saxo i beleive early 2000 mk2 i need to find out as i need to get my fan and temp dial working urgently |
seriously does nobody own a w reg saxo or know what fan they use (mk1 or mk2) i need to know so i can get my fan working
can someone please tell me i been trying to find out for weeks now and no one apparently knows |
iirc the 2000 (crossover year) has everything from the mk1 loom side and engine side of it... so it would be a mk1 fan unless someone has changed it previously to a mk2 fan?
|
can be both mine was a mk1 fan and my mates same car same year same engine was the mk2 fan.
|
whats the difference in wiring from mk2 and mk1 as in were do they plug in at
i know the mk1 is done by ecu i think and the temp from the rad i think not 100% sure i just cant get my fan and temp dial working so i think i could have wrong fan set up |
my w reg vtr has the mk1 fan behind the rad

yeah that would be great its just im tring to get my fan working and maybe decide if i need the mk1 fan instead of the mk2 on mine
as mine is at the moment it goes from fan to relay to a plug with 3 wires (doesnt go anywere on mine thats whats wrong i think) and a blue wire going to fusebox |
did anyone ever check this for me
still need to know |
