Shiny cylinder head

What kind of products do I need to clean my 8v head up? It's covered in oil, dirt, grime. And I see a lot of nice shiny cylinder heads which make a huge difference in the bay.

I'm guessing a drill with a wire brush bit, and some kind of cleaning compound? But what is the best method?
