Illustrator CS5
 

Pretty basic but iv forgot how to do it!
How dya drop a jpeg, bitmap image into illustrator and layer it in? x

(Just found out)

Drag the image from my pictures into CS5

Then go to "Layer" at the top of the screen.

Then click "New" then "Layer"

Name the layer you want.

Press OK
