very nice mate are these quick?

Dan-Subtle 5th February 2012 21:02

Looks nice Tom.

Although I'm surprised youve got no mods planned, nothing engine wise?

VTomR 6th February 2012 14:10

Cheers, its not slow, 180 brake standard so goes better than my old saxo lol. Lol you know what I'm like Dan, the 1st page of my saxo thread I said I'm not gonna do nothing to it haha.
Just serviced it and replaced the standard air filter for a green cotton. I do fancy breaking the 200 bhp mark with it in the future but we'll see...

Looks lovely mate, was looking through your saxo progress thread yesterday and noticed the photos of you car infront of cooling castle. Thats literally 2 minutes from my house lol, where abouts do you live man?

stevo1600 6th February 2012 15:50

stage one remap and a more free flowing exhaust will see you 200bhp probably.

very nice these, i really do like them. whats it like on insurance? im 20 so i reckon it would be very high. not sure on your age :p

mmm food for thought, might just go straight to the stage 2 though if im going to do it.
Im paying £1200 a year fully comp, thats with 3 points and being 21.

Not the most iconic Cupra, bit heavy/ugly. But damn quick! Tidy motor :y:

VTomR 18th March 2012 18:19

Small update

Well i kept to my word and gave the cupra a much needed detail, spent near enough 8 hours on it but was really pleased with the final product. Note to self: Black is alot harder to keep clean and swirl free compared to white.

Anyway thought id keep this updated with a few little thing ive done...

Boost Gauge installed, love this, changes colours too B)

Also Hids and l.e.d sidelights and my new plates....

Just saving up for CatBack and AmD Remap now, hmmm i think ive been bitten by the mod bug again :/

ClaytonJones 18th March 2012 18:22

Looks good, bet it feels very nippy.
