Alastair's Venetian X
A mate of mine Alastair has had his sax for about a month, it's a nice car and unbelievably clean! After an unreliable clio, a boring corsa and his experience of driving my sax's in the past the logical choice was of course a sax! We'd been hunting for a while, when this one came up it was 100% worth a look, it didn't disappoint with no rot in sight I was just like "dude, buy it". But due to him thinking forums are a bit "sad" I've been lumbered with doing a progress thread for him!
Modifications of course started in a week, a full mk1 R interior from my "slayer" was put in but I don't have any pics at the mo! ![]() Tonight was spent in the garage with some cleaning products, paint, filter and some headlights. Needless to say it was a rather long night of removing stuff and cleaning/painting/replacing stuff. The headlights from my old car were then trial fitted. But due to the originality of the car we both agree that leaving them standard was a good move. ![]() ![]() A load of stuff was then removed revealing what can only be called an amazing bay! I've never seen one this clean before. ![]() ![]() ![]() A nice bit of restoring, well not restoring but you know what I mean. ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments welcome! More progress to come. |
