02 vtr black and lowered a lot

Just got this vtr today, it came from Belfast

It has being modified, lowered(a lot), 16" alloys, exhaust(don't know make) and cheap induction kit.

Anyway pics(will have better at weekend after wash)

Few fag burns.

Only 70k :)

Might keep the car and fix up a couple things, ie blue bonnet, or strip and use engine and axle for my 1.1 and sell the rest.

C&C welcome

Thanks Trev

looks like a good base, good luck mate

Nates-VTR 6th March 2012 17:00

Nice mate, I vote use springs and all for your flatty and drop the r engine into it :D but if you decide to keep it and fix it up a bit it could also be a cracker, good foundations to work with

JoshFurioBrookes 6th March 2012 17:01

Is it 70k or 90k, looks like 89676 lol

LSOfreak 6th March 2012 17:22

looks like 90k to me :S
them wheels are very rare btw
there was someone once with them on his white vts. Good choice of wheel

nice 'brembos' btw lol :D

do you have any further away pics to show how low it is? do you know how much its been lowered?

t-dogg 6th March 2012 18:02

Will have more pics at weekend when I go back to my dads,

The car is on 69k, and is also chipped :(

Don't know how low, what are the wheels worth ;)

LSOfreak 6th March 2012 19:43

xscottxx 6th March 2012 19:46

Theyre all bad and useless aren't they...

jeffchiz 6th March 2012 20:14

not too bad nothing a spruce up wont sort!

Tannerman 6th March 2012 20:19

Lush wheels.

t-dogg 6th March 2012 21:33

I taught, correct me if I'm wrong, but are bad for the engine.:geek:

LSOfreak 6th March 2012 23:10

depends what you mean by 'chip'
can mean alot of things.
If you mean an ebay chip which is basically a resistor you plug in which increases fuel or something, then yes, its bad, but surely you can just simply unplug it and throw it away?

if you mean your ecu has been remapped, or an aftermarket ecu has been fitted, then thats a good thing. However people only do that after fitting cams or throttlebodies etc. so i doubt it would be that...

Low enough but will be going up a bit to stop the arches from pulled off every time I lock the wheel.

Would 60mm springs bring it up a bit or would It be better to buy cheap coilovers
