DrewSaxo 7th March 2012 01:30

About a guy in uganda i think
Recruits, I think 66,000 children to fight in his guerilla army.
And just goes round killing and torturing who he pleases, only seen first 10 minutes

have you actually watched it? Its really admirable what this campaign is all about, people power and all that

stupotvtr 7th March 2012 08:05

Can someone make a highlight clip, just seen it half an hour long

UKtom 7th March 2012 08:09

pretty amazing campaign, bring on 20th april!

P_Connor 7th March 2012 08:46

Just watched the whole thing. Very admirabe. Extremely well put together as well. What DrewSaxo said is correct.

nicole_ 7th March 2012 08:53

so everyone just posts the link and spends money on tshirts and it means the US army stay out there to find him?

sharpy24 7th March 2012 09:16

umm no, did you even watch the video?? You dont have to spend a penny they are asking for dontations simply because they have rebuilt schools and created safe havens in uganda for the kids who have ran away from their villages for fear of being abducted.
They are asking for peoples support to lobby people in government to keep the issue on the agenda and to lobby the most influential celebrities who have the clout to do the same....that doesn't cost a thing. If it gets forgotten about then the government will think people aren't bothered and decide to pull the 100 army advisors from the country.

nicole_ 7th March 2012 09:19

yeh the whole 30 mins of it.
obviously theres more to it, but essentially thats the point of it no? for people to share the link to keep it known and then buy kits to raise money?

Ashleyp 7th March 2012 09:37

It's a nice idea, but it won't really stop any of the trouble in those african nations, they've been plagued with civil war for decades, it'll take more action than an online rally.

kinda like how when people say "let's boycott petrol pumps to get cheap fuel", that hasn't happened in years, and didn't change anything when it did happen...

And thats before you even mention the fact it'll be old news within a couple of weeks, the same as so many problems in the world, Lybia, Japanese tsunami, Haiti, Yemen, Bahrain, the DR congo etc...

TomT 7th March 2012 15:29

Sounds like a great excuse to get american troops invading another country..

Haven't even watched the video or anything yet, just trying to start people arguing..

Tannerman 7th March 2012 21:15

There's always gonna be problems in the world...maybe we should concentrate on our own first tho.

Liam_ 7th March 2012 22:04
